Nothing Phone 3 India Launch: All You Need to Know

Nothing’s upcoming smartphone, the Phone 3, will officially launch in India on July 1, positioning itself as the brand's first flagship-level device. The launch aims to attract premium smartphone users while retaining value-for-money appeal.

The Phone 3 will mark a departure from the earlier Glyph Interface used in its predecessors. The new model will introduce a feature called the "Glyph Matrix," signaling a major shift in the brand’s rear panel aesthetics. Nothing shared this change via its official X platform.

Powering the Phone 3 is expected to be Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chip. Though not the most advanced chip in the lineup, it is also used in other mid-premium devices such as the iQOO Neo 10 and the upcoming Poco F7.

According to Co-founder Akis Evangelidis, the Phone 3 will receive Android version updates for five years and security patches for seven years—the most extensive support commitment by the company so far.

A 5,150mAh battery is likely to back the Phone 3, as per UL Solutions certification data. This will be the largest battery in a Nothing device to date. Charging is expected to be supported at 50W via cable and 20W wirelessly.

The handset is expected to sport a 6.77-inch LTPO AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 3000 nits. This should enhance usability in outdoor conditions and ensure smoother visual performance.

Leaked visuals show a redesigned rear camera module housing three sensors, including a dedicated telephoto lens. Both the rear main sensor and the front camera are tipped to be 50MP, enhancing imaging quality.

Two storage variants are expected: a base model with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, and a higher-tier version offering 16GB RAM and 512GB storage.

The base variant is expected to be priced near Rs 68,000, while the higher configuration may retail around Rs 77,000.
